GCheck Background Checks uses pay-per-check pricing instead of a subscription. Three packages — Basic ($19.95), Standard ($39.95), and Advanced ($49.95) — are billed per background check, so you only pay for the screens you run.
GCheck Background Checks costs between $19.95 and $49.95 per background check with three plans: Basic at $19.95 per check, Standard at $39.95 per check, and Advanced at $49.95 per check. There's no subscription — you pay for the screens you actually run.
Here's what each package covers.
Basic
Price: $19.95 per background check
Other Features: SSN trace and address history, national criminal database search, nationwide sex offender registry search, OIG excluded parties list, OFAC sanctions lists, global watchlists, and a county criminal search for the candidate's current county of residence
This is the straightforward option for local hiring. It covers the core checks most employers need, and the county search focuses on where your candidate lives now. If you screen candidates who haven't moved around much, Basic keeps costs low while still hitting the essentials.
Standard
Price: $39.95 per background check
Other Features: biometric identity verification, SSN trace and address history, national criminal database search, nationwide sex offender registry search, OIG excluded parties list, OFAC sanctions lists, global watchlists, and a county criminal search with unlimited counties of residence
Standard adds biometric identity verification to confirm your candidate is who they say they are. The bigger upgrade is county coverage — searches aren't tied to a single county anymore. That makes it a strong fit for candidates who've lived in multiple places or roles where identity fraud is a real concern.
Advanced
Price: $49.95 per background check
Other Features: biometric identity verification, SSN trace and address history, national criminal database search, nationwide sex offender registry search, OIG excluded parties list, OFAC sanctions lists, global watchlists, unlimited-county criminal searches, and a federal criminal search with unlimited federal districts of residence
Advanced builds on Standard by adding a federal criminal search across unlimited federal districts. Pick it for senior, financial, or security-sensitive positions where federal records could surface something a county search would miss. It's the most complete package GCheck lists.
GCheck doesn't advertise a free plan or free trial. Two things to know before ordering: additional third-party fees may apply to some products and are passed through with no markup, so it's worth confirming the full cost of your package before you buy. Volume pricing and merit-based nonprofit discounts are also available — contact the team to build a package that fits. Since pricing is per check, you can start with Basic and move up only if you need deeper coverage. 💡
