Ciroapp ("we", "us") operates ciroapp.com, a software discovery, comparison, and subscription-tracking service. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Account data: email, name, password hash, and role when you register.
• Subscription tracker data you enter (software names, renewal dates, amounts).
• Vendor listing data if you publish software as an owner.
• Usage data: pages viewed, search queries, outbound clicks (for analytics and affiliate attribution).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and cookies needed for authentication and preferences.

How we use data

• Provide and secure the service (auth, dashboards, listings).
• Send transactional email such as verification and renewal reminders via Emailit.
• Process owner billing through Creem when you subscribe to paid plans.
• Improve discovery quality and detect abuse.

Processors

We use infrastructure and processors including hosting (Hetzner/Dokku), Postgres, Redis, Emailit, Creem, and optional analytics. They process data only to provide their services under their own terms.

We use essential cookies for login sessions and locale preference. Disabling essential cookies may break sign-in.

Retention and rights
