Score Ciroapp

4.5/ 5

Comprehensive security with fast VPN and extras.

We found NordVPN offers a strong, integrated security suite combining a fast VPN with antivirus and dark web monitoring. It is a solid choice for users seeking all-in-one protection for multiple devices. Overall, it delivers on its core promise of speed and security, though the full value is unlocked on higher-tier plans.

Avantages

  • Avantages:Combines a VPN, antivirus, password manager, and 1 TB cloud storage in a single subscription, so you don't have to buy and manage separate security tools.
  • Avantages:Operates one of the largest server networks in the industry, with over 9,500 servers in 224+ locations and the NordLynx protocol, which is tested as one of the fastest VPN connections available.
  • Avantages:Supports up to 10 simultaneous device connections on one account, and can be installed on a Wi-Fi router to cover an entire home network.

Inconvénients

  • Inconvénients:The full value of the suite is locked behind higher tiers — the password manager, 1 TB cloud storage, and advanced protection only arrive on Complete, while the dedicated IP and cyber insurance require the priciest Ultimate Max plan.
  • Inconvénients:The £5,000 cyber insurance on Ultimate Max is only available to residents of Sweden, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and the UK, limiting its usefulness elsewhere.
  • Inconvénients:Long-term discounts require large upfront payments — the 2-year plans are billed as £69.93–£169.83 at once — and month-to-month pricing (£11.09–£17.59) is significantly more expensive.
Idéal pour
  • Individuals and families who want VPN, antivirus, password management, and dark web monitoring consolidated into one app across up to 10 devices.
  • Remote workers and frequent travelers who regularly use public or hotel Wi-Fi and need encrypted connections with minimal speed loss.
  • Privacy-conscious users who want a verified no-logs policy, Double VPN servers, and AES-256 encryption rather than a bare-bones proxy.

Choisissez-le si

  • Individuals and families who want VPN, antivirus, password management, and dark web monitoring consolidated into one app across up to 10 devices.
  • Remote workers and frequent travelers who regularly use public or hotel Wi-Fi and need encrypted connections with minimal speed loss.
  • Privacy-conscious users who want a verified no-logs policy, Double VPN servers, and AES-256 encryption rather than a bare-bones proxy.
  • People worried about identity theft who want proactive alerts when their passwords, card details, or IDs surface in leaked data.

Évitez-le si

  • Businesses and teams — NordVPN is for personal use only; companies should look at NordLayer, which requires a minimum of 5 licenses.
  • Users who only need a basic VPN and don't want to pay for bundled extras like cloud storage or a password manager — the Basic plan covers the core, but the headline features sit on Complete and Ultimate Max.
  • Buyers outside the six eligible European countries who would be paying for Ultimate Max primarily for the £5,000 cyber insurance, since that coverage won't apply to them.
  • Users in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, or South Korea who want to evaluate the service via the free trial before committing, since the 7-day Android trial is not offered there.

Étapes avant achat

  1. 1Decide which tier fits you: Basic for the core VPN and scam protection, Complete if you also want the password manager and 1 TB cloud storage, or Ultimate Max for the dedicated IP and cyber insurance (check country eligibility first).
  2. 2Go to nordvpn.com/pricing, choose your billing term — monthly, annual, or the discounted 2-year plans — and create your Nord Account at checkout.
  3. 3Download the app for your platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, or a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge), sign in, and connect with one click; Android users can alternatively start with the 7-day Google Play trial.
  4. 4Install the app on your other devices up to the 10-device limit, or set it up on your Wi-Fi router to protect your whole household at once.
  5. 5If the service doesn't meet your expectations, contact 24/7 support within 30 days of purchase to request a full refund under the money-back guarantee.

Cas d’usage

☕ Secure Public Wi-Fi for Remote Work

You're at a coffee shop, using their free Wi-Fi to finish a project. Without protection, a snoop on the same network could see your traffic. You open NordVPN, connect to a nearby server, and your connection is encrypted.

Now, your work files and passwords are shielded from prying eyes, and you can focus on your task with peace of mind.

✈️ Stream Your Favorite Shows While Traveling

You're abroad and want to watch a show from your home country. The streaming service is blocked in your current location. You open the NordVPN app, connect to a server back home, and your device now has a home IP address.

The content loads without buffering, and you can enjoy your show just like you were at home.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Protect Your Family's Devices

You have a family with multiple devices—phones, tablets, a laptop. You want to protect everyone without juggling separate accounts. With NordVPN, you can secure up to 10 devices on one subscription.

You install the app on each device, and now the whole family's browsing is encrypted and protected from malware and phishing.

🛡️ Avoid Phishing and Malware Downloads

You click a link in an email that looks like it's from your bank. NordVPN's next-gen antivirus scans the link in real time and blocks it before it loads. You're alerted that it was a phishing attempt.

Similarly, when you download a file, NordVPN scans it for malware, preventing any harmful software from reaching your device.

🔍 Monitor for Leaked Personal Data

You've heard about data breaches and worry your information is exposed. With NordVPN's Dark Web Monitor Pro™, you can get alerts if your passwords, credit card details, or personal IDs appear on the dark web. This gives you time to change your passwords or freeze a card before any damage is done.

🛒 Secure Your Online Shopping

You're making an online purchase on a public network. Without protection, your payment details could be intercepted. You connect to NordVPN, which encrypts your traffic.

Your credit card information is now secure, and you can shop with confidence, knowing your transaction is protected from potential snoopers.

📱 Simple Setup for Non-Tech Users

You're not tech-savvy and want a straightforward way to protect your online activity. NordVPN's app is designed to be easy to use. You download it, click a single button to connect, and you're protected.

No complicated settings or technical knowledge required. It's as simple as turning on a switch.
